Request for Proposals – Snow and Ice Removal Services
The City of Maple Plain is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide snow and ice removal services for City streets, sidewalks, trails, and other designated public areas.
Services will include snow plowing, snow removal, sanding and salting, pretreatment, and related snow and ice control services in accordance with the City’s specifications and Snow and Ice Control Policy.
Contractors must have sufficient personnel and equipment available to provide timely and reliable service throughout the winter season. All routine and primary plowing of City streets must be performed using trucks equipped with snowplows. Skid steers will not be permitted for primary street plowing. Skid steers may be used for cleanup operations, including intersections, cul-de-sacs, dead ends, and other areas where additional maneuverability is necessary.
