Property Value Review – Open Book Process

The City of Maple Plain has moved to Hennepin County Assessor’s Office’s Open Book process for property value reviews. This change was approved on October 27, 2025.

This new process gives property owners the opportunity multiple times to meet one-on-one with a county appraiser to review and discuss their property value. It’s a simple and helpful way to ask questions and better understand your assessment.

In 2026, Hennepin County will offer:

• Seven in-person Open Book meetings across the county

• One virtual meeting option
