City Council Vision

In April 2017, the City Council participated in a Goal Setting Retreat and established the following vision for the City of Maple Plain

 1. Creating Community Space 

• Veterans Memorial Park is Open
• Maple Plain has an active, inviting, mixed-use Downtown that is a gathering place for the community and visitors

 2. Engaging the Community 

• Maple Plain is a connected, engaged, and involved community
• Maple Plain has clear, timely, and open communication with residents

 3. Improving Public Service 

• Maple Plain provides excellent service with a small efficient government
• Maple Plain has sustainable, public safety services
• Maple Plain has a multi-model forms of transportation, connected infrastructure, and public facilities plan.
