Last Day to Vote Early

Today, Monday, August 10, is the final day to vote early in person before the Primary Election.

Early voting is available at Maple Plain City Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Voters who vote early will complete a voter certificate, receive and mark their ballot, and insert their completed ballot directly into the ballot tabulator.

What to Know About the Primary

The State Primary Election determines which candidates will advance to the November General Election.

For partisan races, voters must vote for candidates from only one political party. Minnesota voters do not register by political party, so voters may choose which party's candidates they wish to vote for when completing their ballot.

Nonpartisan races may also appear on the primary ballot when enough candidates have filed to require a primary.

Make a Plan to Vote

Whether you vote early today or at the polls tomorrow, the City encourages all eligible Maple Plain voters to make a plan to participate.

For additional information about voting, voter registration, or elections, visit the City of Maple Plain website or contact City Hall.

Don't forget—polls are open tomorrow from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
