Mark These Dates Residents who have special assessments on their property and would like to pay the remaining balance should be aware of the City’s annual assessment payoff deadlines.
Prior-Year Assessments
Residents wishing to pay off an assessment from a prior year must deliver payment to Maple Plain City Hall no later than November 15. After this deadline, prior-year assessments will remain on the property tax rolls for the upcoming year.
New Assessments
Residents who have received a new assessment and would like to pay the assessment before it is added to their property taxes must deliver payment to City Hall no later than November 30.
Residents considering an assessment payoff are encouraged to contact City Hall in advance to confirm their current assessment balance and the amount required for full payment.
Please allow sufficient time to obtain payoff information and submit payment before the applicable deadline. City staff are available to assist residents with questions regarding assessment balances and the payoff process.
