Upcoming Open House & Public Hearing: 2026 Street Improvement Projects

The City of Maple Plain is planning two major street improvement projects for 2026:

• Industrial Street Improvements
  • Location: Industrial Street (between Budd Ave. and east cul-de-sac)
  • Work includes: Water main and service replacement, new pavement
  • Estimated cost: $432,375
• Downtown Street Reconstruction
  • Locations: Main Street E (Pioneer Ave. to Budd Ave.), Pioneer Ave., Delano Ave., Maple Ave., plus pavement rehab on Marsh Ave. & Spring Ave.
  • Work includes: Water & sanitary sewer replacement, curb & gutter, sidewalks, lighting, storm sewer, and new pavement
  • Estimated cost: $5,895,745

Open House

• Tuesday, January 6, 2026 | 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
• Maple Plain City Hall
• Meet the project team, review plans, and ask questions before the hearing.

Public Hearing

• Tuesday, January 20, 2026 | 7:00 PM
• City Hall Council Chambers
• Property owners will have an opportunity to review assessment methodology and provide input.
