The City of Maple Plain will conduct seal coating on city streets on Thursday, September 3, weather permitting.
Residents and motorists should expect temporary traffic restrictions and brief delays while crews complete the work. Please use caution near work areas, follow all posted signs, and allow additional travel time.
Residents on affected streets are asked to keep vehicles, trailers, basketball hoops, garbage containers, and other items off the roadway before and during the seal-coating process. Access to homes and businesses will generally be maintained, although short-term interruptions may occur.
Seal coating is a preventative maintenance treatment that helps protect pavement, extend the life of city streets, and reduce the need for more extensive repairs.
