Battle of the Badges

The Battle of the Badges took place on August 26th, and it was a game to remember! With thunderous applause, West Hennepin Public Safety took to the field, defending their title against the noble and tenacious Maple Plain Fire Department. 

It was a battle filled with ups and downs, but in the end, West Hennepin Public Safety held on to its title for one more year! 

A huge thank you to all the volunteers and first responders who supported this event behind the scenes. Special shout-out to Mike Rippberger for field preparation, Tracy Rippberger for manning the concession stand, Dean Mooney for singing the national anthem, and former Director Gary Kroells filling in as Umpire. You made the night even more fun!

We can’t wait to see everyone next year at the annual Battle of the Badges!
