As Memorial Day approaches, the city of Maple Plain extends its solemn reverence and gratitude to all those who have served and sacrificed for our nation. May we never forget the true meaning of Memorial Day and always honor the courageous individuals who have given everything for our nation. Paul Stinson American Legion 514 will hold their Annual Memorial Day service on Monday, May 26th at Lewis Cemetery beginning at 10:30 AM. A Service with Rituals honoring our Active and Deceased veterans will be performed. Lewis is located one mile west of Maple Plain on U.S. Hwy. 12 at County Road #90. Service will be complete with Guest speaker 37A MN State Rep. Kristin Robbins. With soloist Tyler Whyte. The public is encouraged to bring their “unserviceable U.S.” Flags. The Legion will have a bin available to accept them.
