Special Assessment Search Request
The City of Maple Plain provides Special Assessment Searches for properties located within the city. This report identifies outstanding special assessments, delinquent utility charges, pending assessments, and outstanding city code violations as of the date the search is completed.
Information Required
Please provide the following information:
- Requester's company name
- Mailing address
- Phone number
- Email address
- Property address
- Parcel Identification Number (PIN)
- Legal description of the property

Fee
$35.00 per property
Payment must be received before the assessment search is processed.
When on the Payment site select the following:
1st drop down select: Planning & Zoning
2nd drop down select: Zoning & Subdivision Fees
What the Search Includes
The assessment search may include:
- Outstanding special assessments
- Delinquent water and sewer charges
- Pending assessments under consideration by the City
- Outstanding City Code violations
Important Notes
- City assessments are levied through Hennepin County.
- Water and sewer balances shown are not final utility bills.
- Utility balances do not include usage since the last meter reading.
- A final utility reading should be scheduled by calling 763-479-0517 when property ownership is changing.
Processing Time
Assessment searches are completed in the order received. Requests will be processed once all required information and payment have been submitted.
