Veterans Memorial Park is a newly renovated (2020) community park serving all of Maple Plain. This park's primary purpose is to provide a community gathering place as well as a recreational opportunity for a variety of individuals.
Amenities of the park include:
- Playground with slides and climbing equipment
- Swing set including an adaptive swing seat
- Picnic shelter with tables and barbecue grills
- Bandshell / Performance Stage with benches
- Baseball field
- Softball field
- Basketball court
- Memorial area devoted to all the branches of the military
- Open area
