Collection Schedule
City-wide garbage pickup and recycling are on Mondays. All refuse and recycling should be placed out for collection by 6:00 am. If your garbage is missed, please contact Republic Services.
- Garbage and Organics: collected weekly
- Recycling: collected every other week:
- Yard Waste and Brush: collected weekly (Mondays) from April through the third full week in November. (See website for exact dates.)
- Christmas Tree Collection (free): first two weeks in January on your normal collection day
Holiday Collection
Collection may be delayed on major holidays. In general if the holiday falls on a Monday, garbage and recycling pick-up will be on Tuesday that week. Holidays that will result in waste pickup being delayed by one day are highlighted in red on the 2025 calendar provided above.
