
West Hennepin Public Safety Welcomes New Director Matt DuRose
On April 21st, the communities of Maple Plain and Independence proudly gathered to witness a significant moment in the history of West Hennepin Public Safety (WHPS): the swearing-in ceremony of its fifth Public Safety Director.
Congratulations to Director Matt DuRose, who officially took the oath of office surrounded by family, colleagues, and community leaders. The event was a celebration of leadership, commitment, and the strong partnership between WHPS and the residents it serves.
Director DuRose brings with him a wealth of experience in law enforcement, leadership, and community engagement. His dedication to public safety and collaborative policing will be a valuable asset to our cities as we continue to build safe and thriving communities. His vision aligns with WHPS’s longstanding tradition of excellence, innovation, and service to the people of Maple Plain and Independence.
