🚨 Public Service Announcement – Fraud Alert 🚨

The City of Maple Plain has been made aware of a scam targeting individuals with active building permit or land use applications.

If you receive an invoice requesting payment via wire transfer, DO NOT WIRE MONEY.
This is fraudulent. The City of Maple Plain will never request payment via wire transfer for any permit, application, or service.

This scam has recently surfaced in Maple Plain and has affected other cities across Minnesota as well.

✅ What to do if you receive such a request:

Do not respond to the message.
Do not send any money.
Report the incident to City Hall immediately at 763-479-0515.
